Razanac, a village and small harbour on the coast of the
southern part of the Velebit Channel, 24 km northeast of Zadar. Chief occupations
are farming, livestock breeding, fishing and tourism. The coast is poorly indented and chiefly bare from the cape of Debela Nozica in the north-west to the cove of
Bokulja in the south-east. In front of the village are low and bare islets of Razanac Veli, Razanac Mali and Donji Skolj. Razanac is located on the local road, branching
off from the main road (M29).
On Sibenicka Glavica, south of the village, are the ruins of an Illyrian hill-fort. Mediaeval settlements emerged during the period of Turkish-Venetian wars (16th and
17th c.). The harbour features the remains of a fortification from the 16th century.
